Navigating The Mortgage Process

Let’s Make This Painless

The mortgage process doesn’t have to be overwhelming. With my experience handling hundreds of loans, my team and I focus on finding a loan that fits your needs—not the other way around. We’re here to guide you through every step, minimize stress, and make the journey as smooth as possible. You’ve worked hard to get here—let us do the heavy lifting.

1: Loan Application — Clear Communication

The first step is to fill out the 1003 Loan Application and upload documents supporting your income and employment status. We use a secure platform called Arive to intake these items. At some point during the pre-approval process, your credit report will be pulled and integrated into the application. Once everything has been vetted, we will send a pre-approval letter to you and your realtor so you can start shopping!

2: In Contract — Seamless Process

You’ve made an offer on a property and it’s been accepted by the seller. At this point, we will reach out for any additional documents that need updating from you, your realtor, and the title company that has opened escrow. It is imperative that this request is prioritized to keep within the closing timeline.

3: Processing & Underwriting — Diligent Support

Our processors prepare your loan file for submission to the lender where your application and documents are scrutinized for accuracy.

4: Conditional & Final Loan Approval — Full Transparency

After underwriting, your loan will be conditionally approved. If additional documentation is required, we’ll guide you through it. Once all conditions are met, your loan receives final approval. For a smooth process, check out my blog on what not to do when buying a home.

5: Closing & Funding — Congratulations!

The closing department will send your final documents for review and approval before forwarding them to the title company. The title company will coordinate a signing appointment for all parties.

Once the documents are signed, the loan is funded, and your home closes the next day—keys in hand! Congrats!

6: After the Sale — Ongoing Support
